Kyiv hit by overnight Russian attack: High-rise and warehouse catch fire, one injured

Russians attacked Kyiv with drones again overnight on October 1 and in the morning. As a result of the strikes, hits and fires were reported, leaving one person injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Russians attacked Kyiv with drones again overnight on October 1 and in the morning. Emergency workers reported that the consequences of the overnight attack were recorded in two districts — Solomianskyi and Obolonskyi. In particular:
- In the Solomianskyi district, a room on the first floor of a 16-story building caught fire as a result of the attack. Parked cars also caught fire. The fire was extinguished over an area of 80 square meters.
- Meanwhile, a large-scale fire broke out in a warehouse building in the Obolonskyi district. The fire was extinguished, and the injured person was handed over to medics.

In the morning, the enemy again began attacking Kyiv with jet-powered drones, causing explosions across the city. The first consequences are already known.
"A drone hit the territory of a non-residential complex in the Pecherskyi district. Emergency services are heading to the scene," Klitschko wrote.
Attacks on Kyiv
Overnight on September 30, Russians launched a combined attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and drones. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and other structures were damaged, and fires broke out. Power supply disruptions were observed following the strikes.
Meanwhile, during the day and evening of September 30, Russians deliberately attacked Kyiv's energy infrastructure, resulting in emergency power outages.
