Once again, unknown drones have attacked Russia's Krasnodar Krai. Footage has been circulated online showing the Ilsky oil refinery damaged after being struck by unknown drones, according to OSINT channels.

In the footage circulated online, a large fire and a lot of smoke can be seen at the oil refinery, which may indicate significant damage to the facility from drone strikes.

The governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, has not yet confirmed the attack on the oil refinery; however, local channels are publishing footage, including videos with comments from Russians.

The Ilsky oil refinery is located in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and is one of the largest private refineries in southern Russia. The facility specialises in oil refining and the production of petroleum products for the domestic market.

In addition to oil exports, these refineries in Russia also supply fuel to Russian Armed Forces personnel currently on the front lines in Ukraine.

As is known, this is not the first time the Ilsky refinery has been attacked by drones. The last reported attack on the plant was on February 17, 2026.

At that time, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility as a result of the drone strike, and an oil products reservoir was damaged. According to Russian authorities, the fire area reached approximately 700 square meters.

Overall, the aggressor country is losing significant revenue from drone attacks on such facilities, which is rapidly driving the Russian economy toward stagnation.
