Russia reports new attack on Lgov, Kursk region: What is known
Residents of the Kursk region in Russia reported explosions in the city of Lgov on the evening of Monday, December 30, according to the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein.
Khinshtein has traditionally claimed that the attack came from Ukraine.
According to him, the strike was aimed at the "peaceful city of Lgov." Currently, there is no information about casualties or significant damage.
"Emergency and utility services are working at the site. I am keeping the situation under control," he wrote.
At the same time, monitoring channels report that the local railway in Lgov was allegedly attacked.
On the night of December 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the location of the command post of the 810th separate marine brigade in Lgov, Kursk region. At that time, it was reported that the strike had caused severe consequences.
