As of now, the Pokrovsk direction shows renewed activity. Yesterday alone, 77 combat clashes were recorded, informs Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Grouping of Troops.

"The most active remain the Lyman, Novopavlivka, and Pokrovsk directions. In the Pokrovsk direction, there were 77 combat clashes yesterday. This is a very high number. It marks another increase in activity. This is happening along the entire line, including intense fighting on the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway in the eastern part of the region," Trehubov said.

He added that it is almost never quiet anywhere. Russian activity continues across the entire zone of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping. The quietest sectors are the Siversk and Kharkiv directions.

"Overall, the Russians are active. They use all available means, including guided bombs in the Pokrovsk direction. We are currently in an active phase of the campaign. Across our entire zone of responsibility, there is no silence at all," he added.

Trehubov also noted that there are no significant changes in the enemy's tactics. The Russians conduct attacks in small groups. They try to find gaps in Ukrainian positions to slip through and secure footholds. After that, they bring up their equipment.

Frontline situation

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine outlined the hottest spots on the front. As of June 7, the military said the Russians' attack was in 11 directions. The most intense fighting is on the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kramatorsk directions.

At the same time, it became known this morning that over the past day, Ukrainian forces destroyed 1,100 Russian forces on the front. As a result, estimated losses of Russian Armed Forces personnel have reached approximately 995,030 soldiers.
