Russia prepares Luhansk children for mobilization with military-style school training

On the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the Russians are systematically preparing children for future mobilization into the Russian army, according to the National Resistance Center.
In Stanytsia Luhanska, militants from the Russian National Guard and activists of the United Russia party held training sessions for the local football club Ataman youth under the guise of Physical Culture Day, the National Resistance Center reported.
It is known that children were forced to:
- perform endurance and strength exercises;
- practice hand-to-hand combat techniques;
- repeat special forces maneuvers.
The instructors openly stated that this was preparation for selection into military units, the CNS added.
According to Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has deported over 19,500 children from Ukraine. More than a thousand of these children have been returned home.
The deportation of Ukrainian children was the basis for the International Criminal Court in The Hague issuing arrest warrants for the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova.
