Russia massively strikes Ukraine's Kirovohrad region: Consequences revealed

Russia attacked the Kirovohrad region with missiles and strike drones during the night and early morning. Russian strikes damaged power lines and private homes, according to Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration.
"Since last night, the Kirovohrad region has been under Russian fire. Russia carried out a massive attack with missiles and strike drones," Raikovich says.
According to the head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration, residential buildings and power lines have been damaged in one of the communities in the Oleksandriia district.
"Emergency crews from Kirovogradoblenergo have begun repairs. They are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strikes as quickly as possible and restore a stable power supply," he adds.
As a result of Russian strikes, a warehouse building was damaged in the Kropyvnytskyi district.
This morning, January 6, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia had launched two Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and guided missiles in the direction of Kropyvnytskyi. In addition, several groups of strike drones flew toward the regional center from different directions.
Russian strikes on Kirovohrad region
Russian troops regularly attack various communities in the Kirovohrad region with strike drones and various types of missiles.
On October 24, Russia struck one of the communities in the region. Critical infrastructure was hit. As a result of the Russian strike, 19 settlements were left without electricity.
In addition, Russian missiles and drones had previously attacked the Kirovohrad region, leaving 27 settlements without electricity as a result of the Russian strikes.
