Russia launches third massive attack on Ukraine's Sloviansk in 24 hours, injuring 16 people

Russia struck Sloviansk for the third time in less than 24 hours. An aerial bomb attack wounded 16 people, including a child, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Russian aircraft dropped three aerial bombs on the city center, one of which failed to detonate. Bomb disposal experts retrieved it and will destroy it in accordance with established procedures," the rescuers reported.
The strike partially destroyed a five-story residential building and a two-story office building. Rescuers pulled three injured people from the rubble and evacuated two others from the third floor, including a woman with limited mobility.
"In total, 16 apartment buildings and commercial facilities were damaged. At the strike sites, emergency crews cleared 23 metric tons of building debris," the statement said.

Two explosions were heard in Sloviansk earlier this morning after Russian forces dropped aerial bombs on the city. Residential buildings, an enterprise, and a diplomatic mission were damaged.
The morning strike killed five people and injured nine others.
