Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with strike drones from several directions at once. It is reported that most of the drones were shot down, according to the Ukrainian Air Force’s Telegram channel.

"On the night of October 24, the enemy attacked with 128 strike UAVs, including Shaheds, Gerberas, and other types of drones, from the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, Chauda, and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. About 90 of them were Shaheds," the Ukrainian Air Force stated.

It was noted that the aerial attack was countered by aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare and UAV units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense systems had shot down or suppressed 72 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country. At the same time, 47 strike drones hit 10 locations.

"The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones are still in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Ukrainian Air Force added.
