On the night of November 10, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones. The air defense forces shot down 62 of the 145 drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“On the night of November 10, the enemy attacked with a record number of UAVs! During the night, the Air Force's radio engineering troops detected and escorted 145 air targets - Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones,” the statement said.

Russia launched drones from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

How the air defense responded

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

“As of 09:30 a.m. Kyiv time, 62 enemy UAVs were confirmed to have been shot down in the Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions,” the Air Force said.

67 Russian drones were lost in different regions of Ukraine, and another 10 Russian UAVs left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.

Russia's attack on Ukraine

On the night of November 10, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In Kyiv and some regions, the air raid alert was raised after 4:00 a.m. because of the Shahed drones.

Later it became known that about 15 Russian drones headed to Kyiv were destroyed. There was no damage or casualties in the capital.

The Odesa region and other regions were affected by the Russian attack. Apartment buildings and private properties were damaged, but there were no casualties, and the victims were being provided with medical aid.
