Kyiv Administration reports results of air defense operation during Shahed drone attack
In the night leading up to November 10, approximately 15 Russian attack drones were destroyed by air defense forces, which the enemy had aimed at Kyiv. There were no casualties or damage in the capital, reports the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
The official noted that the Russian army continues to terrorize peaceful settlements, and Kyiv remains at the top of the enemy's list.
"Last night, Russian forces once again launched their attack drones at the peaceful homes of Kyiv residents," said the head of the administration.
He reminded that air alerts were issued twice in Kyiv, with a total duration of nearly five hours.
"Recently, the enemy has begun changing the tactics of their drone use. However, all components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, involved in protecting the airspace, are effectively responding to the new challenges," the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration stated.
As a result, he confirmed, Ukrainian defenders neutralized nearly a dozen and a half enemy drones, which posed a threat to Kyiv.
"The capital has suffered no damage or casualties," the administration leader added.
Shahed drone attack on Kyiv
As previously reported, on the evening of Saturday, November 9, air alerts were declared in Kyiv due to the threat of an enemy drone attack.
Additionally, it was noted that the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed drones from various directions for attacks on Ukraine.
The air defense system continued to operate in the Kyiv region due to enemy drones.

Also, around 4 a.m. Kyiv time, air alerts were once again issued in Kyiv due to a Shahed drone attack, which lasted just over half an hour.
