Russia launches over 100 drones overnight: Ukraine's air defense works

The Russian army attacked the territory of Ukraine on the night of June 30 with 107 Shahed drones, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
On the night of June 30, starting at 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time on June 29, the enemy attacked with 107 Shahed UAVs and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied territory of Crimea).
The main direction of the enemy's strike was the Donetsk region and Kharkiv region. Aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled the air attack.
As of 9:00 a.m., Ukraine's air defense destroyed 74 enemy Shahed drones and other types of UAVs in the north, east, and south of the country. Of these, 64 were shot down by firepower, and 10 were lost due to electronic warfare.
Enemy hits were recorded at 15 locations, and the fall of downed drone debris at 2 locations.
Drone strike on Kharkiv region on June 30
On the night of Monday, June 30, the Russian army again attacked the territory of Ukraine with Shahed drones.
The main direction of the attack was Kharkiv and the region. In particular, we reported that explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the sounds were coming from outside the city.
Later, reports indicated hits in three locations in the Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts, which caused fires to break out.
