Russia launches new strikes on energy facilities in Ukraine's Kharkiv and Sumy regions

On the night of October 14, Russians launched new strikes on energy facilities in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. In the morning, electricity consumption restrictions were introduced in the Chernihiv region, according to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Russia struck the energy infrastructure of the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
"Energy workers are working around the clock to restore power to consumers. All necessary measures are being taken to maintain the stable operation of the power system," the statement says.
However, as of October 14, electricity consumption restrictions are in effect in the Chernihiv region.
Consumers are urged to use electricity rationally, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening.
Power outages
Yesterday, emergency power outages were in effect in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia (for industrial consumers), and Kirovohrad (partially) regions.
In addition, local power companies in the Chernihiv region implemented two rounds of hourly power outages.
In the evening, emergency power cuts were introduced for the second time in 24 hours in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
