Russia launches massive attack on Kherson: Photos of consequences

Russian troops shelled Kherson today, March 23. As a result of the strikes at various locations, destruction was recorded, the Head of the Kherson Cityl Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, report.
"Around 10:00 a.m., Russian occupiers struck the Dniprovskyi district. As a result of this shelling, a 62-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds," Mrochko said.
According to the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, the woman was taken to the hospital by police officers, where doctors assessed her condition as moderate. Later, it was reported about a 66-year-old man who was also hospitalized due to Russian shelling.
"He has a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the head and chest," Mrochko added.
"The Russian army launched a massive shelling of one of Kherson's districts. As a result of the strikes at various addresses, three residential buildings were destroyed and caught fire," rescuers explained.
According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters extinguished the fires despite the threat of repeated enemy attacks.
"There were no casualties at the sites where firefighting and rescue operations were carried out," the press service noted.
Yesterday, part of Kherson experienced an emergency power outage.
Russian forces have repeatedly struck Kherson using artillery and missile systems. The city is frequently targeted, leading to infrastructure destruction and civilian casualties.
