Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory overnight with strike drones from several directions. Most of the hostile targets were destroyed by the air defense forces, according to the Air Force.

"On the night of November 7, the enemy launched 128 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Herbera, and other types from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Chauda – temporarily occupied Crimea," the Ukrainian Air Force reported.

It is noted that the air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone system units, and mobile fire groups.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00, air defense has shot down or suppressed 94 Shahed, Herbera, and other types of enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country. Meanwhile, 31 strike drones hit 11 locations.

"The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.

Night attack by Russia on November 7

Russian forces attacked energy facilities in the Odesa region overnight on November 7 using strike drones. Several fires broke out as a result of the attack.

It is reported that storage facilities and an administrative building were also damaged. All fires were promptly extinguished by emergency services.

Three units of equipment and 19 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, as well as three units of equipment and 10 personnel from local fire departments, were involved in eliminating the consequences.

Additionally, the enemy launched a massive attack on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. Preliminary reports indicate that a civilian enterprise and an educational institution were affected. A large fire broke out at the impact sites.

As a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, windows were shattered in several residential buildings and a kindergarten. No information about casualties has been reported so far.
