Russia launches campaign to identify pro-Ukrainian residents in occupied territories
In the temporarily occupied territories, Russian forces are implementing new methods in a harsh campaign to identify pro-Ukrainian sympathizers, according to the National Resistance Center of Ukraine (NRC).
It is reported that specially trained police officers will now be involved in conducting school lessons. Their task will be to detect pro-Ukrainian sentiments among parents through their children.
"On the eve of the new school year, teachers who collaborated with the enemy underwent special training to identify children who potentially support Ukraine. In their usual cynical manner, the occupiers called this deviant behavior," the NRC states.
The National Resistance Center has urged parents to have conversations with their children about appropriate behavior when interacting with Russian troops.
Situation in the occupied territories
Russian troops are forcibly distributing propaganda literature to Ukrainians living under occupation as part of a campaign called "Book to Home."
Additionally, Russian troops have mandated a new school uniform designed to resemble post-war styles.
In the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region, Russian troops have also organized a propaganda festival.
