Russia launches ballistic strikes and 160 drones on Ukraine

Russian forces launched 164 drones at Ukraine overnight on September 13. They also attacked with ballistic missiles, according to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
During the night, the enemy struck with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 164 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types. Launches came from five directions: Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
According to the Air Forces of Ukraine, about 90 of the drones were Shaheds.
Air defense forces shot down 137 enemy drones in the north, south, east, and central regions of Ukraine.
"Impacts were recorded from a missile and 27 attack UAVs at nine locations, as well as debris from downed drones at three locations," the statement said.
Russian night attacks
It should be recalled that on the night of September 7, Russians struck Ukraine with drones and missiles. That night, the occupiers launched a record 810 drones at Ukraine.
In Kyiv, more than 10 locations with damage were recorded, including attacks on residential high-rise buildings. The attack resulted in casualties, with dozens of people injured.
As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously noted, Russia launched over 1,300 drones at Ukraine in the first six days of September. The occupiers also used nearly 900 guided aerial bombs and up to 50 missiles of various types during the first week of autumn.
