Russia launches ballistic strike on enterprise in Sumy, injuring several people
Russian military forces earlier today, on November 8, launched a missile strike on Sumy. As a result of the attack, an enterprise was damaged, and there are reports of injuries, according to a statement from the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, Russia launched a missile strike on an enterprise in Sumy.
"As a result of the attack, two employees were injured, and the enterprise's property was damaged. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling," emphasized the Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that during today's attack on Sumy, the enemy's target was critical infrastructure.
This is not the first strike on the city today. Last night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that a high-speed target was detected in the Sumy region. Shortly after, media outlets reported an explosion in Sumy.
Additionally, today Russian army struck the village of Krasnopillia in the Sumy region. The strike was carried out with a guided air bomb, resulting in several injuries. In particular, rescuers pulled a woman out from under the rubble.
