Russia launches another drone strike on Kharkiv

Overnight on June 12, Russian forces launched a second drone attack on Kharkiv. Explosions were heard in the city, and impacts were recorded, according to the channel of Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
He reported that at least two districts of the city had come under attack.
"Another strike on the city has been recorded, preliminarily in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The consequences are being clarified," read a message posted at 02:46 AM Kyiv time.
Shortly afterward, the mayor reported another impact in the Saltivskyi district, with damage also being assessed.
Meanwhile, local channels reported sightings of drones and sounds of explosions.
"There is also information about strikes in the Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts. The consequences are being clarified," Terekhov stated at 03:06 AM Kyiv time.
He added that several drones were still heading toward the city and urged residents to remain cautious.
Air raid alerts
As of 03:04 AM Kyiv time, the air raid alert map showed active warnings in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
Kharkiv strikes
Just over an hour earlier, Kharkiv was also attacked by drones. At approximately 01:38 AM Kyiv time, a series of explosions was heard in the city.
Shortly afterward, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported that the Shevchenkivskyi district had come under attack.
It was later confirmed that one of the strikes hit the courtyard of an educational institution. Windows were shattered as a result of the attack. No casualties were reported.
