On the night of April 4, Russia attacked Ukraine with 93 strike drones from six directions. Ukrainian air defenses managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

From 6:00 p.m. on April 4 to the morning of April 5, Russia launched 93 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

About 60 of the drones were Shahed types.

The air assault was countered by aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defenses shot down or suppressed 76 enemy drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Seventeen strike drones hit ten locations, and debris from downed drones fell in three other locations.

"The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the air. Follow safety rules!" the Ukrainian Air Force warned.
