Russia launched 160 drones at Ukraine and struck Odesa region with ballistic missiles

Russia launched 160 drones at Ukraine overnight on February 21. The enemy also attacked the Odesa region with ballistic missiles, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
In particular, Russia launched 160 Shahed drones and decoy UAVs from five directions - Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Shatalovo. Furthermore, the enemy struck the Odesa region with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Crimea.
The aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attack.
Air defense forces destroyed 87 drones. Another 70 enemy decoy UAVs were lost from radar tracking (without negative consequences). Air defense units operated in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Odesa, Kyiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions were affected by the enemy strike.
During the drone attack overnight, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Local authorities reported air defense activity.

Yesterday, the enemy launched a combined strike on Ukraine. Russia fired 161 drones and 14 missiles (including Kh-101/Kh-55 cruise missiles and Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles).
Air defense forces shot down 80 enemy drones. Another 78 enemy decoy UAVs were lost from radar tracking.
For two consecutive days, Russian troops attacked energy facilities in the Odesa region. In addition, yesterday, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine's gas infrastructure, damaging production facilities in particular.
