Russia kills 4 civilians, including 18-year-old, in southern Ukraine airstrike

Russian forces struck Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region on Sunday, June 1. Three women were killed in the attack, informs Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Fedorov stated that the Russians launched three strikes on the village of Terny in the Zaporizhzhia district, approximately 90 km from Zaporizhzhia city. The attack killed three women aged 18, 35, and 56.
The explosion and debris partially destroyed a store and nearby houses.
Additionally, Russian forces struck the village of Kopani in the Vozdvyzhivska community, Polohy district, with at least three guided bombs. A 67-year-old man died in this attack.

On the night of June 1, the Russian army launched a record number of drones at Ukraine — 472 units. They also fired seven missiles, including ballistic ones.
Air Defense Forces shot down 385 aerial attack devices, but some hits still occurred.
The strikes targeted Kyiv and its surrounding regions, including Zhytomyr, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. Russians hit the city overnight with seven Shahed drones. Houses and infrastructure were damaged.
