This morning, Russian forces struck Mykolaiv with an Iskander-M ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead. One fatality has already been reported, according to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

According to Kim, at around 7:20 a.m., Russian forces struck Mykolaiv with a ballistic missile, which is believed to have been an Iskander-M equipped with a cluster warhead.

"Unfortunately, one person was killed. As of now, 15 people have been reported injured with varying degrees of severity," the regional governor added.

Among the wounded is a child, whose condition doctors describe as moderate.

Meanwhile, a local gas station and several cars were damaged in the attack.

Emergency service units reported that they were also involved in addressing hazards at the scene.

They carried out operations to wash away spilled fuel using water and foam to prevent ignition. Chemical experts and bomb disposal teams from the State Emergency Service were also deployed.

Medics and Red Cross volunteers also assisted the injured.

As a reminder, on the morning of November 1, Russian forces struck Mykolaiv using ballistic missiles.

Attacks across Ukraine

Russian troops had begun launching Shahed attack drones across Ukraine on the evening of October 31.

Air raid alerts were declared in several regions. More details are available in the RBC-Ukraine report.

Earlier that night, Russian forces also targeted energy facilities in the Odesa region with attack drones, sparking a fire.

Reports also said that Russia carried out a series of drone strikes on Sumy, injuring 15 people, including children.

Additionally, that same night, Russian troops attacked railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, damaging train cars and a depot.
