Russia hits Kharkiv with ballistic missiles

On the night of July 8, the Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with ballistic missiles. Enemy strikes were recorded in several districts, according to the Telegram of the city mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
According to local public channels, explosions were heard in the city at 1:43 am and 1:45 am Kyiv time. At the same time, monitoring channels reported a ballistic threat, and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded missile launches in the direction of the city.
A few minutes later, the information was confirmed directly by Mayor Terekhov. He wrote that strikes were recorded in the Osnovianskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts.
"As a result of the missile strike in the Nemyshlianskyi district, more than 10 private houses have been damaged. All relevant services are working at the scene," he added some time later.
What the consequences are in the Osnovianskyi district is still unknown.
Attacks on Kharkiv
Yesterday, July 7, Russian units carried out an airstrike on Kharkiv. As a result of the attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district, medical and educational facilities, a gas station, residential buildings, and warehouses were damaged. In addition, fires broke out.
The enemy carried out a series of airstrikes on Kharkiv on July 1. At that time, strikes were recorded in three districts at once – Kyivskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Novobavarskyi. As a result of the attack, houses were damaged, and cars were on fire.
