Strikes on Kryvyi Rih
The Russian army has been attacking Kryvyi Rih for several consecutive days. On January 6, the enemy struck the city with ballistic missiles. The target was an infrastructure facility, and no one was injured.
Yesterday, January 7, the Russian forces carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Kryvyi Rih since the start of the full-scale invasion. The strikes hit several districts of the city during the day and evening.
As of the morning of January 8, two people remain in hospitals with moderate injuries.
In the Inhuletskyi, part of the Metalurhiinyi, and Dovhyntsivskyi districts, there are ongoing electricity issues — nearly 29,400 subscribers remain without power, and water supply in the southern part of the city is being provided by generators. Over 30 boiler houses temporarily stopped working due to the attack.
It was later confirmed that air defense forces shot down 31 enemy drones overnight over the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Kryvyi Rih district, infrastructure damage and fires were recorded.
