Zheleznogorsk
On the same evening, November 1, the city of Zheleznogorsk in Russia’s Kursk region came under drone attack.
There, a substation was reportedly targeted as well, leaving part of the city without electricity.
Tuapse
With the start of the new day, several social media channels began reporting explosions in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The region soon confirmed the attack, stating that port infrastructure was damaged, resulting in subsequent fires.
According to the Telegram channel ASTRA, the attack caused a fire at the deep-water berth complex of RN-Morskoy Terminal Tuapse LLC, also known as the oil pier of the Tuapse Refinery near the coast. This complex is used for loading dark and light petroleum products onto tankers.
“This is a maritime port facility specifically built for loading petroleum products onto tankers. Residents often call it the ‘oil pier of the Tuapse Refinery’ because it is directly connected to the Tuapse Refinery and serves its export operations,” ASTRA explained.
Other social media channels reported that Rosneft’s deep-water berth was targeted.
