Russia heavily strikes Ukraine's Kharkiv and Chuhuiv, killing pregnant woman and injuring many

On the night of June 9, the Kharkiv region came under a massive Russian rocket and drone attack. Three people were killed in Chuhuiv, including a pregnant woman, and 15 people were injured in Kharkiv, among them children, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
Massive Russian attack on Kharkiv
According to Terekhov, Kharkiv came under another massive Russian drone attack.
As of this morning, 11 Russian drone strikes have been recorded in the city. Two more drones fell without detonating. The Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts were hit.
Russia attacked residential buildings, civilian enterprises, stores, vehicles, and urban infrastructure facilities.
One of the Russian drones struck a high-rise building. Cars near the building were burned, dozens of vehicles were damaged, and windows were shattered in surrounding buildings.
Another drone struck a residential building between the eighth and ninth floors but did not detonate. Residents were evacuated.

Administrative and industrial buildings, a business center, a café, a church, and dozens of cars were also damaged.
Currently, 15 casualties are reported, including two children.
Russian missile strike on Chuhuiv
At the same time, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Chuhuiv. The type of missile is currently being determined.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the strike hit the city’s civilian infrastructure. The attack damaged private homes, high-rise buildings, and vehicles.
Fires broke out as a result of the Russian strikes.
As the prosecutor’s office adds, two men and a 22-year-old pregnant woman were killed in the Russian strikes. Six more people were injured.
Rescue workers, medical personnel, and other specialized services continue to work at the impact sites.

Last night, Russia launched more than 150 attack drones and missiles at Ukraine. Strikes were recorded at dozens of locations across the country.
