Russia has fired over 600 missiles and nearly 40 missiles at Ukraine this week - Zelenskyy
This week, the Russian military launched more than 600 guided aerial bombs and almost 40 missiles of various types toward the territory of Ukraine, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Our people are constantly suffering from Russian terror. This week alone, Russia has used more than 600 guided aerial bombs, more than 60 Shaheds, and almost 40 missiles of various types," the president said.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine had further strengthened its air shield this week.
"Thank you to Germany and the United States! Ukrainian Patriots will show themselves even better in the defense against Russian terror," the head of state said.
Meanwhile, the President noted that in order to protect all Ukrainian cities and villages, "to really overcome Russian terror," more concrete decisions are needed.
"And next week we will work with our partners for such decisions - we are already preparing them," he said.
About the NATO summit
The North Atlantic Alliance summit will take place in the United States next week, from July 9 to 11.
Earlier, President Zelenskyy said he hoped for strong results from the NATO summit.
