Russia launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia during the overnight combined attack on Ukraine.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, according to his channel.

"Russians launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia. A production facility of one of the enterprises was damaged," Fedorov reported.

According to him, preliminary data indicate that there were no casualties as a result of the strike.

"The air raid alert is still ongoing. Stay in safe places," Fedorov urged.

Attack on Ukraine on June 29

Russia launched drones in the evening of June 28. An air raid alert was declared due to the attack across nearly all regions. The Air Force warned of a missile strike threat.

Later, Ukrainians were warned that amid the drone attack, Russia launched strategic bombers Tu-95MS into the air.

In Kyiv, air defense systems were active during the air raid. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported explosions in the Obolon district.

During the night, a MiG-31K took off from the Savasleyka airfield. Several regions reported air defense activity and explosions.
