Russia expanded fortifications along border with Ukraine
Russian forces have expanded their fortifications along the border with Ukraine in recent months, according to OSINT analyst Brady Africk.
He published a map showing numerous Russian field fortifications in Ukraine and around it. The map was created based on satellite imagery obtained from the Sentinel-2 satellite.
In particular, new trenches were built along the border with Ukraine in the Kursk region during the summer.

It's important to note that this map should not be considered a comprehensive list of Russian fortifications. It also does not distinguish between barriers, trenches, and other types of fortifications.
Furthermore, not all of these fortifications may currently be staffed by Russian personnel.

Defense lines in Russia
In the fall of 2022, it was reported that defensive anti-tank structures, similar to those in the occupied Donbas, appeared in the Belgorod region. At the same time, Russians were also constructing reinforced defensive lines in the Kursk region.
It should be noted that in many regions of Russia, as well as in the occupied territories, there have been increasing reports of explosions and "flyovers" in recent times.
