In the Donetsk region, Russian troops dropped a high-explosive aerial bomb on a private house where an entire family was staying. Two people were killed, and three others were injured as a result of the Russian attack, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

On the evening of February 1, at around 11:30 p.m., Russians launched an air strike on the village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka with a FAB-250 aerial bomb with a UMPC module (universal planning and correction module - ed.).

Russian bomb hit a private house, which was destroyed.

As a result of the Russian attack, a 44-year-old man and his 23-year-old son were killed. Three other family members were injured - a 42-year-old woman, an 11-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl.

The casualties were diagnosed with fractures, mine-blast injuries, and shrapnel wounds.

The boy is in the hospital in severe condition. All the wounded were hospitalized.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the war crime (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Prosecutor's Office also showed the consequences of the Russian attack on a residential building in the village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region.

According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, this family was evacuated to the Odesa region in November last year, but in December they returned to the frontline village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka without permission.

"The parents deliberately decided to leave the region far from the front line and return their children to Russian bombs. I don't know how many more stories like this it will take for everyone to finally understand that staying in the Donetsk region is dangerous," he adds.

FAB-250 with UMPC module

This is a Soviet 250 kg high-explosive aerial bomb, which Russia equips with a universal gliding and correction module. The UMPC allows the bomb to glide for tens of kilometers and hit targets outside the range of Ukrainian air defense systems.

Guidance is carried out using satellite coordinates, which increases the accuracy of strikes. Russia uses such ammunition extensively to strike frontline cities and residential areas.

PrivatBank recently suspended the operations of its branch in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region. The reason was the security situation.

According to the bank, teams from Druzhkivka will continue to work in Kramatorsk, 20 kilometers away. All necessary services will be available there.

Earlier, Russian troops attacked Sloviansk in the Donetsk region with FPV drones. Two children aged 16 and 17 were injured as a result of the Russian strike.
