On the night of May 29, Russians launched a drone attack on the village of Masheve in the Chernihiv region. The fire destroyed the school, according to Oleksandr Seliverstov, head of the Novohorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration.

"Today, May 29, Russia struck the village of Masheve at night with Geran drones," Seliverstov says.

Russian drone strike caused a fire that destroyed the local school building and all property within it.

According to available information, there have been no reports of civilian casualties.

The extent of the damage and the final consequences of the enemy shelling are currently being assessed.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

On the night of May 29, Russians deliberately attacked a ship sailing from one of the ports in the Odesa region to Türkiye. Crew members were injured as a result of the Russian strike.

The Russians also attacked Zaporizhzhia once again and damaged buildings in the city. Two people are known to have been injured.
