Yesterday, Russian invaders launched a missile attack on a printing house in Kharkiv. The attack killed people and burned 50,000 books, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Yesterday's Russian strike on the Kharkiv region, which killed and injured people, destroyed a printing house, and burned 50,000 books, demonstrates that Russia is at war with humanity and all aspects of normal life," he says.

Zelenskyy emphasizes that Russian terrorists are killing adults and children, destroying cities and villages, and leaving scorched spots where normal life once was.

"Russian terror must lose. And this requires only one thing - the determination of world leaders. Sufficient determination. Sufficient air defense of Ukrainian cities and communities, sufficient long-range capabilities of our soldiers, sufficiently bold political decisions," he adds.

Russian attack on Kharkiv on May 23

Russian invaders fired 15 missiles at Kharkiv and the region, killing 7 people and injuring 21 others. Among the destroyed objects is the Factor Druk printing house, where the Vivat publishing house is located.

In the wake of this brutal attack, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on allies to act decisively. He emphasized that words of support will not stop Russian missiles and that seven Patriot systems are not such a high price to pay for peace in Europe.
