Today, on May 23, Russian troops launched 15 missiles at once at Kharkiv and Liubotyn. Insufficient air defense protection is not a weakness of Ukraine, but of the world, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says.
"An extremely brutal Russian attack against Kharkiv and Liubotyn - according to preliminary data, 15 missiles at once. Unfortunately, there are dead and injured. Emergency services are already at the sites of the hits, and everyone who has been injured will be provided with the necessary assistance," the President says.
Zelenskyy notes that the Russians are taking advantage of the fact that Ukraine currently lacks sufficient air defense and a reliable ability to destroy Russia's launchers near its borders.

"And this is not our weakness, but the weakness of the world, which for the third year has not dared to treat terrorists exactly as they deserve," Zelensky adds.
According to Zelenskyy, terror must be lost in all conditions and on any continent. This is a common responsibility of everyone in the world.
Death toll increased
"According to updated information, as of now, 7 people have been killed," writes the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

Today, May 23, Russian terrorists launched a massive attack on Kharkiv. At first, one explosion was heard in the city, followed by more than ten more.
Russia hit a printing company. 11 injured and 6 killed were reported, but the number of victims continued to grow.
There are also victims in Zolochiv and Liubotyn.
