According to preliminary data, the submarine Russia deployed in the Black Sea is not equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles. However, this information is still being verified, citing the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

"One of the submarines, preliminarily, which is not a carrier, has set out to sea. However, this information is still being verified because it is difficult to guarantee one hundred percent that it is not a carrier. Therefore, we conditionally assume it is not a carrier," Pletenchuk said.

He added that enemy ships and vessels' movements are currently being tracked. Some of them left Crimea yesterday, May 22, and arrived in Novorossiysk.

"These are auxiliary vessels. They probably decided to relocate considering the danger," the Navy spokesperson said.

Russia's mass shelling of Ukraine

In recent months, Russian terrorists have intensified mass shelling against Ukrainian territory. Mostly, the country's energy infrastructure is targeted, leading to power outage schedules. Strengthening air defense measures has also become more acute.

In early April, Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said that at that time, the enemy had about 260 Kalibr missiles.
