Russia has decided to transfer reserves to the border area in the Kursk region after Ukrainian military forces allegedly breached there, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

The aggressor country’s agency claims that this morning, 300 Ukrainian defenders from the 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, supported by 11 tanks and over 20 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), allegedly attacked the positions of the Russian forces near the villages of Nikolayevo-Dariino and Oleshnya in the Kursk region.

The Russians assert that they are attacking Ukrainian defenders who are allegedly located in the Kursk region as well as those in the Sumy region.

“Reserves of the Russian military group in the Kursk direction have been deployed to the combat area,” the Russian Ministry of Defense stated.

The agency also boasted about the "destroyed Ukrainian military equipment," including allegedly tanks and AFVs.
