Russia deploys Kalibr missile carriers to Black and Mediterranean Seas - Ukrainian Navy
On September 22, Russia deployed warships armed with Kalibr cruise missiles into the Black and Mediterranean Seas, according to the morning report from the Ukrainian Navy.
In the Black Sea, one enemy ship — carrying Kalibr missiles — is currently present, with a total salvo capacity of up to four missiles.
There are no enemy vessels in the Sea of Azov.
In the Mediterranean Sea, one enemy ship with Kalibr cruise missiles is present, with a total salvo capacity of up to 16 missiles.
Within the past 24 hours, in Russia’s interest, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - no vessels;
- to the Azov Sea - 1 vessel.
Additionally, Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).
Nighttime strikes on Ukraine
On the evening of September 21, Russian forces once again launched Shahed attack drones toward Ukraine. Air alerts were declared in several regions. Throughout the night, drones approached from both the south and the north in multiple waves.
Furthermore, Russia struck Kharkiv with several guided aerial bombs.
As a result of the shelling, a multi-story residential building and vehicles were damaged, with more than 20 people reported injured.
