Russia could launch four massive attacks on Ukraine in September, sources say

According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, in September, in addition to drone attacks, Moscow plans to carry out four massive combined attacks on Ukraine, involving the simultaneous use of various types of missiles and attack UAVs.
The sources told the outlet they fear that after a series of strikes on warehouse and logistics infrastructure in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, Russia could shift its focus to similar facilities in western Ukraine. Energy infrastructure could become another target.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, as early as September-October, Russia could launch massive attacks on Ukraine's energy system alongside strikes on warehouses.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin publicly announced plans for such strikes on September 1.
In recent days, Russian forces have attacked power generation facilities and electricity grid infrastructure in several regions, including the Odesa region. However, these strikes have not yet developed into a large-scale campaign against Ukraine's energy system.
New wave of strikes on Kyiv
Earlier, on September 4, Russian forces struck the SBU building in central Kyiv. The attack damaged the office of Oleksandr Poklad, head of the Main Directorate of Counterintelligence, and people were injured.
In addition, Russian forces have significantly changed their tactics for air attacks on the capital.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, Russia is using large numbers of new Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered drones and plans to make them 80% of its drone strikes.
