Russia conducts rotation of missile carriers in the Black Sea: Number of Kalibrs doubled
As of 18:30 on Saturday, August 5th, the Russian Federation has reportedly conducted a rotation of missile carriers in the Black Sea. This information was provided by Serhii Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Odesa Region Military Administration.
"Adversary rotated missile carriers in the Black Sea, substituting an underwater one for an above-water one, effectively doubling the number of Kalibr missiles," Bratchuk stated.
The Spokesperson also emphasized that at this very moment, missiles from the Black Sea have been launched toward Ukrainian territory.
Air alarm in Ukraine
Today marks the third time within the day that a widespread air alarm has been declared in Ukraine, primarily due to the missile threat.
Reason for the alarm
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' aerial units indicated that the alarm has been raised due to the missile threat in most regions.
"Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Poltava regions are under missile threat," the statement reads.
Furthermore, there is a missile strike threat in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Additionally, it has been reported that a group of cruise missiles is moving in the direction of the Kirovohrad region.
