Russia completely destroyed lyceum in Odesa region with ballistic missile - Zelenskyy

The Russian army launched a missile strike on a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi today, June 23. At least two people were killed as a result of the attack, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
"An absolutely insane Russian missile strike directly hit a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region. According to preliminary reports, it was a ballistic missile," the president wrote.
He noted that there were no children in the lyceum, as it is currently summer break. However, staff members were present in the building.
"Sadly, some people may still be trapped under the rubble. It is already known that two people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. The lyceum has been almost completely destroyed. A rescue operation is ongoing," Zelenskyy emphasized.
According to the president, none of Russia’s strikes are accidental — the enemy knows exactly where it is targeting. Such attacks are deliberate, and Russia has no intention of ending the war voluntarily.
"That is why a real and painful increase in pressure and sanctions against Russia is necessary. Right now, we are defending ourselves against Russian attacks. But if Russia is not forced into peace, other countries in Europe will have to think about protecting their lyceums, hospitals, and ordinary apartment buildings — wherever these Russian murderers might strike," he added.
