Russian terrorists have resorted to a new tactic during shelling in Kharkiv. In a very short time, the enemy launches drones at a single location, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.

Commenting on the night of April 9, Terekhov stated that it was relatively calm, unlike previous nights, when the city had been hit by 20 drone strikes.

On April 9, the mayor reported that Russian forces had carried out 17 strikes on the Osnoviansky district alone. In total, more than 20 drone hits were recorded in the city.

"I want to say that this is a new tactic, where the enemy acts in such a way that, in a very short time, many drones hit the same area in a single district of Kharkiv. We witnessed this just the day before when 17 drones hit one part of the city within an hour," Terekhov explained.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Since the beginning of the war, Russia has been regularly shelling Ukraine. Frontline settlements and regions have particularly suffered from these attacks. In particular, terrorists conduct nightly drone strikes. For instance, on the night of April 10, the enemy launched 145 Shahed-type UAVs and drone imitators. By 9:00 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukraine's air defense managed to shoot down 85 of them.
