Russia carried out 465 chemical attacks on Ukraine since the full-scale invasion
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian terrorists have used chemical weapons 465 times to attack Ukraine, according to the Support Force Command.
"The defense forces have recorded 465 cases of the use of ammunition by the Russian Federation, equipped with poisonous chemical substances. Of these, 81 cases occurred in December of the current year alone," the statement says.
At the same time, the command notes that the dynamics of the use of such weapons by the occupiers are increasing. For example, on a single day, December 19, the Russians carried out 8 attacks using chemical substances.
Most often, the enemy uses grenades such as K-51, RGR, and the hand-held gas grenade Drofa-PM, which are dropped from drones.
However, improvised explosive devices equipped with irritants are used. Artillery shelling with chemically hazardous substances is also carried out.
For instance, on December 14, the use of a new type of special gas grenade RG-VO with an unknown chemical substance was discovered.
It is noted that 28 cases of the use of dangerous chemical substances have been documented and sent for investigation as part of criminal proceedings by the groups of radiation, chemical, and biological reconnaissance from the military units of the Support Force Command together with the Security Service of Ukraine.
