Russia builds up missile carriers in Black Sea, threat level is extremely high
Russia has increased the number of missile carriers in the Black Sea, leading to an exceptionally high level of threat, according to the Southern Defense Forces.
"The enemy has increased the number of missile carriers in the Black Sea. In addition to two frigates, one small missile ship has been added," the announcement states.
The total salvo could be up to 24 Kalibr missiles.
"The level of missile threat is exceptionally high! Pay attention to air raid alarms and react promptly," the military urged.
Russian blockade of the sea
Russian aggressors are utilizing the Black and Azov Seas for their military purposes. Currently, the Azov Sea is under complete enemy control.
After the liberation of Snake Island, the dominance of occupiers in the Black Sea has been reduced. However, after Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal, civilian navigation is again under threat, despite recent months seeing breakthroughs in breaking the enemy's sea blockade.
Meanwhile, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk explained why Russian terrorists have started to use fewer Kalibr cruise missiles during mass shelling of Ukrainian territory.
