On Monday, May 3, the Russian Federation once again shelled the Donetsk region. The village of Mikhailivka came under fire, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.

The first strike was carried out around 11:20 a.m. Then the Russian army probably used a UMPB D-30SN bomb. As a result, a woman was killed.

The second strike was carried out at 12:40. This time, the Russian forces probably used a Smerch multiple-launch rocket system. The munition hit the territory of the private sector.

A 12-year-old boy died of life-threatening injuries and his mother was wounded.

In addition, several households in the settlement were damaged.

Situation in the Donetsk region

Recently, analysts of the Institute for the Study of War informed that the Russian forces made minor advances in two directions in the Donetsk region.
