Russian troops continue attempts to advance in the Kharkiv region. Their assaults have also been recorded in the Kupiansk direction, according to the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Clashes and shelling

Around 140 combat engagements were recorded in the past day.

The Russian forces launched 6 missile strikes and 64 airstrikes, conducted 51 shelling operations with rocket artillery systems targeting our troops' positions and civilian settlements.

Situation in specific directions

In the Kharkiv direction as of 8:00 PM, there have been reports of 13 combat engagements. Ukrainian soldiers are striking the enemy and reinforcing their efforts. They are also fortifying their positions and setting up backup positions. Evacuation efforts continue, aided by Defense Forces.

In the Kupiansk direction, our troops repelled 15 attacks during the current day.

In the Lyman direction, the number of combat engagements increased to 9.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks but did not succeed.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the number of enemy attacks increased to 33.

In the Kurakhove direction, with air support, the enemy attempted to breach our troops' defense 13 times but was unsuccessful.

In the Vremivka direction, our defenders repelled a total of 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane and Staromykhailivka. In other directions, the situation remains unchanged.

Ukraine's Forces attacks

During the day, the Defense Forces' aviation and missile units struck 1 artillery piece, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 command post, 1 ammunition depot, and 2 areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military vehicles were concentrated.

Advance in the Kharkiv region

Russian forces have been advancing on the Kharkiv region for several days now. To do this, they have concentrated a large number of their troops.
