Russia attempts to spread disinformation about embezzlement of foreign weapons in Ukraine
Russia consistently attempts to spread disinformation by claiming that cases of embezzlement of foreign weaponry are occurring in Ukraine, states the Pentagon spokesperson, General Patrick Ryder
"There remains no credible evidence of illicit diversion of U.S.-provided advanced conventional weapons from Ukraine," stated the Pentagon spokesperson.
According to him, Russia consistently attempts to spread disinformation through various channels.
"But the thing is, we have seen Ukrainians utilizing the capabilities that have been provided to them on the battlefield. We see them using them effectively," emphasized Ryder.
Disinformation and fakes by Russia against Ukraine
We previously reported that the Russian Federation attempted to launch a wave of disinformation regarding the reasons for the suspension of prisoner exchanges. This tactic may be aimed at justifying its inaction.
Recently, a video surfaced online featuring the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, allegedly calling on Ukrainians to overthrow and advising military personnel not to obey criminal orders of the authorities.
