Russia attacks Znamianka in Kirovohrad region, leaving homes damaged and people hurt

On the night of September 3, the Russian forces attacked the Znamianka community in the Kirovohrad region. The shelling caused power outages, damaged buildings, and injured people, according to a Telegram post by Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration.
It should be noted that tonight the enemy is carrying out a massive drone attack across Ukraine. Russian drones were also targeting the Kirovohrad region.
"Enemy drone attack on the Znamianka community, including facilities of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). Fires have broken out in private homes,” the regional head wrote at 02:01 a.m. Kyiv time.
Raikovych has now provided updated information regarding the enemy attack.
He urged residents not to post any photos or videos on social media and to remain in safe shelters until the air raid alert ends. In Znamianka, three people were injured and are currently receiving medical assistance.
Additionally, 10 residential buildings were damaged, and there is a power outage.
"Power has been cut off to the settlements of the community. Emergency service workers, police, psychologists, and medical teams are on site. Energy crews are restoring electricity," the post stated.

The head of the Regional Military Administration clarified that the number of injured has risen to five. Medical teams are currently assisting, and their lives are not at risk.
There is unfortunate news regarding the buildings, but positive news regarding electricity.
"Seventeen residential buildings were affected by the enemy strike - one destroyed. Surrounding settlements in the Znamianka community have already had power restored. Assessment of the area is ongoing," Raikovych reported.
Attack on the Kirovohrad region
The Russian forces frequently attack the Kirovohrad region with drones or other means to cause damage.
For example, on the night of July 4, dozens of drones were also detected in the region. In particular, a building in the Znamianka community was partially damaged, and one woman was injured; she received all necessary medical assistance.
