Russian troops attacked Ukrainian territory at night with Shahed-type kamikaze drones and S-300 missiles. Air defense forces destroyed 11 attack drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of January 25, 2024, the enemy struck with 14 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the Primorsko-Okhtarsk region of the Russian Federation and Cape Chauda in Crimea, as well as four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation in the direction of Kharkiv, as well as one missile from the occupied part of the Donetsk region," the Air Force says in a statement.

Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. As a result of combat operations, 11 Shaheds were destroyed in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

The Air Force of Ukraine previously reported that the Russian occupiers had launched Shahed drones on the territory of Ukraine again in the evening.

Late in the evening, the sounds of explosions were also reported in Odesa. Later, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said that the Russian army had attacked the city with attack drones, and a man was injured in the shelling. According to Kiper, there is damage to civilian residential infrastructure.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs showed the consequences of the evening shelling of Odesa by the Russian occupiers. According to the mayor of the city, Hennadii Trukhanov, a residential high-rise building was damaged in the Khadzhybeiskyi district, and warehouses were burned down.

As a result of another Russian attack on Odesa, several buildings in the city's Prymorskyi district were damaged. Rescuers and medics were reportedly assisting people on the spot.
