On the night of March 11, Russia launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and more than 125 Shaheds and decoy drones against Ukraine, reports the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the attack, Russia launched:

  • one Iskander-M missile from the Taganrog area, Russia,
  • 126 drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

To repel the attack, the following forces were engaged:

  • aviation,
  • anti-aircraft missile forces,
  • electronic warfare units,
  • mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 8.00 AM (Kyiv time), it was confirmed that the Iskander-M missile and 79 drones were shot down. Another 35 decoy drones were lost in location tracking without any negative consequences.

  • Donetsk,
  • Odesa,
  • Kharkiv,
  • Sumy,
  • Kyiv.

Russian attack on Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has regularly attacked Ukraine using guided aerial bombs, drones, missiles of various types, and artillery. The enemy launches drones almost every night, posing a threat to civilians.

For example, on the night of March 10, Russian terrorists launched 176 drones against Ukraine. Air defense systems were active in 15 regions.
