Russia strikes Ukraine with 176 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of Monday, March 10, the Russian army launched 176 Shahed-type attack drones into Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces operated in 15 regions, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of March 10, 2025, from 6 p.m. on March 9, Russia attacked with 176 Shahed-type attack drones and imitator drones of various types from the directions.
In particular, from Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and from Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8 a.m., 130 Shahed attack drones and other types of drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
In addition, 42 Russian imitation drones were lost locally, without any negative consequences. However, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kyiv regions were affected by the Russian attack.
