Russia attacks Sumy energy infrastructure with missiles

Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of Sumy with missiles. The city has deployed steadfastness points, according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh.
According to Artiukh, 4 Russian missile strikes are currently reported. The consequences are already being investigated, after which they will begin to be eliminated.
At the same time, due to the Russian shelling of the energy infrastructure, the situation with electricity may change. For this reason, Unbreakability points have been deployed in the city.
Russian night shelling of Sumy region
According to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, dozens of Russian Shahed-type attack unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the Sumy region at night. The drones were launched in the direction of the Konotop and Sumy districts, but Russia failed to achieve its goal of destroying the region's energy system.
"But now we feel that Russia continues to destroy these intentions, because he is hitting with missiles, not Shahed. Ukrainian power engineers worked all night and almost restored 100% of Konotop, where power facilities were out of commission, and restored them," he says, adding that the power facilities of Sumy and Sumy district have been restored by 85%.

In particular, Artiukh said that the Sumy region continues to suffer from Russia's impact on the environment. For the second time in a month, discharges from Russia have been entering the Seim River.

According to Oleksii Drozdenko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, there is a lot of work to be done in the city after the new Russian.
"First of all, we are providing water supply and sewerage. Power engineers are also working. Everything is under control, but there is a lot of work to be done," he adds.
